Winning- This is the ability to obtain a victory. In warfare a victory can only be determined by “sustainable” benefits in a strategic, tactical and operational sense.
Hearts- This is where intentions and inclinations are guided from and belief and fear are guided by the same. Therefore, hearts are won and joined through the clarity that results from verifiable actions that reprove verbal articulations.
Society- This is the foundation of a populated land, region or theatre and is indicative of diverse representations of humanity.
Classic Strategic Thought Concerning War
Sun Tzu
“In warfare, engage directly; secure victory indirectly.”
Assessment
Once a conflict has led to a physical engagement in theatre, the secured victory of diplomacy must be preceded by actions that will compel an enemy to comply while creating a disconnect between that enemy and the civilian population they wish to recruit from.
Perception- Many experts have been unable to separate the pillage/plunder/booty variables from Sun Tzu’s preference for precision use of decisive force that creates diplomatic interaction opportunities.
Reality- Every sustainable victory known to man concerning warfare has been accomplished by way of the converge/consolidation/governance pattern of warfighting.
Guiding Determinants of Military Warfare (Commitment/Resolve/Resilience) – This achieves the following:
1. Facilitates societal compliance between American forces and the civilian population.
2. Removes neutrality concerning the civilian population and enemy contingents.
3. Creates a multi regional form of social unity in theatre.
